I wired up a tach and went to mount it - poof, idiot. The automatic turns the entire column and I cannot mount the tach there..any suggestions without trashing the classic interior?
What size is your tach? I have a 5" Monster tach and I have it mounted on my A pillar up top. I just routed the wires behind it and looks pretty decent.
Sorry no pics I used the same mount that the tach had...the round "brace" that goes around the tach and has a little base that is slightly arched. I then used a longer screw and screwed it up to the pillar. Hope this helps
Cars and Guitars This is my solution got a arm rest and cup holder out of the deal too
