can anyone tell me the correst shifter lever for a 1970 chevelle with a factory console and bucket seats im using a t10 4 speed with a hurst shifter base:hurray:

Not much out there on this install believe it or not.I don't suppose you could maybe talk about Hurst super comp console shifters and rod issues.From what I gather B&M purchased Hurst and trying to piece together info on handles and rods is getting rough to do anymore (used stuff).I just purchased a s-t10 from a 74 vette 1.64 three ring trans. and I want to install it in my 68 behind a 1998 vortec motor I have with an lt4 cam and victor intake .I have an original 68 console But my car was an automatic and I think I have to install a hump in the floor.I have found that the only flywheel I can use is a 68 tooth external balance with the small bolt pattern.No prob. there clutch will be easy as well. but I have a Hurst comp plus shifter 391-0014 that looks like it will work with my console it has no bolts on the shifter handle it just comes up from the shifter plates and bends to the right about two inches.I can't find any info on this shifter and I need the rods for it.Are the rods pretty forgiving from a muncie to the t10? any help would be great..
