Are they the inside seat brackets that weld to the floor? If so, you MUST weld them in, I know some people have bolted them in but I wouldnt, and I didnt when I did my 70.
You can bolt the bucket seat to the existing outside holes and line these brackets up with the inner slider brackets on the seat. Some people have had trouble getting the seat belt retractor back in when doing it this way. You can also move the seats over a little to make room for the seat belt.
BTW,The raised part goes toward the front.
