I'm toying with making this change because my 70 dash is pretty trashed in the radio area (although I think it can be repaired). I will be pulling my dash to restore it and already have the 72 dash. My current dash is non AC while the 72 is for an AC car. I wonder how hard it would be to cut out and repair the area for the seat belt warning light with some epoxy. Has anyone else done this? Does anyone see a down side to making this switch? Is it correct to assume that the printed circuit board for the gauges will be the same for both years? Thanks for helping, Steve Johnson in Portland Oregon.
