You would think if your going to plaster "Chevelle Mania" on the front cover of latest edition that you would have more than 3 features and an article on cutting up a dash to put an electronic shift system in.

super chevy, chevy performance, chevy rumble are all the same how to customize butcher put it in the weeds, horsepower. Thats fine if your into that I have a 69 chevelle with a 454 stroked to around 500 with 700hp. so I'm open to some of that but I would love to see a all chevy mag thats dedicated to the restorer with every part and detail to do concourse restoration. Same thing with tv shows every ones about restorods. the ins and outs of restoring to original would be cool also. I have a 70SS chevelle that I want to bring back to as close to original and it would help

I just got my 1st issue of Super Chevy on a new subscription and I was surprised how many ads there are. Seems like half the mag is advertising, leaving me highly disappointed. 64elkynss

yes, it's the same thing month after month. but I think that's true of every mag. I have been a subscriber since mid 80's and as with any publication there are ups and downs. I've had a dozen compliants in past years but this one really ticked me off. Just had to vent.

I've been watching the news stand for their annual Chevelle mag and thought maybe this month was it. Boy was I wrong.

I'm hoping things get better since Marion is back.

Where it's at is...."Chevelle World"

I was getting Super Chevy Maz. for 7-9 years. DUMPED it , My last issue was last month. WHY? Too many much advertizzzzzzzing-No real car stuff. Storys on how to build a $300.000 57 Chevy, Too much Bull ship, No meat and potatoes. My wife got me Muscle Car maz. I like it. Last issue in Super Chevy, was a story on a $500.000 Baldwin Camaro. "Whats in your wallet" ? The Maz. has gone to the money issue. Just like the Super Chevy Car Shows. Lets Bleed the consumers of every nickel and give them bullship.
Yes, Advertising pays the bills. Drop the adds and you would have a two page flyer like you get at a car cruise and STILL no good car info.
My rant is done and so is my subscription with Super Chevy!!!!
P.S. The last issue on my subscription, The first "23" pages of the Maz. were adds. Bob ACES--AACA

I started out with a subscription to HOTROD in 68 (still have every issue catalogued in the attic). Later, I got SC, then All Chevy (does anyone remember that magazine, which I believe later merged with SC?), then Chevy Hi-Perf, then Chevy Rumble. I had REALLY HIGH HOPES for CR because Doug Marion was the Exec Editor--------------------but John Dianna (owner-publisher) ruined that. I've now let alllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll of my subcsriptions run out except HOTROD, which I WILL NOT be renewing. when HR runs out, that's it. As a member of several organizations, such as ACES, NCRS, SACC, Late Great, I receive their publications and will continue to do so, but the magazine subscriptions have come to an end!!!!!
