I won an Editor's Choice Top 10 Drag Cars award at Super Chevy Show - Palm Beach International Raceway a couple of weeks ago. Also made it down to 9 cars in Bracket 2/No Electronics - earned $75.

Super Chevy Magazine put a photo up on their webpage...

Super Chevy events had sort of lost their luster the past few years, but my brother-in-law and I decided to give it a try, and it was actually a pretty cool event. The people at the track were very accomodating, and worked hard to make it a good event. My BIL also won Best Truck 1946-1972 with his 1965 C10. This phot was shot by me, so aplogies if it's not the greatest...

I worked hard for that $75...had to change a starter between rounds in that grassy pit area, with hand tools. 93 degrees, high humidity, and a hot engine.

All part of the fun of racing, right?

Last time I went rounds at a Super Chevy Show it took them many weeks to mail me the money. I haven't been to a Super Chevy Show since. Since they stopped coming to Pomona the shows have sucked anyway. Congrats on your win.
