Dumb one but I’ve never had this happen before. Went to install a Mr. Gasket fuel pressure gauge on my Russell fuel line kit. Mounts in the typical location on the front #6 t fitting. When I tighten it it’s upside down. Right side up it’s not tight enough and upside down is perfectly tight. Bugging the hell outta me. Any way to fix that???? What am I missing???

Permatex makes a fuel resistant RTV. There is also fuel resistant Teflon paste and Loctite # 565. I use an Aviation fuel sealant.

Apply it to the threads towards the middle and upper portion of the gauge threads so not to accidentally cover the inlet hole. Screw it down and till its snug and where you want it. let it sit for a bit.

I agree, you'll need a hardening sealer that allows you to leave it snug to where you need it.
