I have a '72 Mohave Gold that is being prepped for paint. Thought about black stripes, until I seen some white ones on a '71 burnt orange(close in color) in the classified section. The black is more subtle, but the white has more pop factor. Now what

In my opinion, black definitely looks best with Mohave Gold, especially with a black interior.

i would perfer the black stripes, but not with a cream interior. i would try and match the stripes as close as possable to the interior. i really dislike cars with multiple schemes.

interior black= black stripes
white interior = white stripes

i've seen brown cars with green interiors and white stripes, this type of thing is like finger nails on chalk board for me.......i know it's a preference, and i don't even own a chevelle at this point, but it's one of my peeves when stripes don't match anything on the car...kinda like those fat europeans that wear thongs and black socks to the beach......
