The looks of my front bumper has been bothering me for a while and I can't seem to adjust it right.... On my '72 Malibu I've tried to adjust it so its flat across the front and shows the chrome trim along the bottom nice and even. When I do this, the bottom corner of the ends seem to dig into the fenders. Could it be the bumper is twisted from jacking over 39 years? Does anyone know of a way to fix the problem? I saw the picture of the 402 4-door restore project from 1976 and that's what I want my bumper to sit like.
Thanks,
Don

Thanks for the replies.... I tried rotating it down so the gap at the fender is straight, but the nose still covers up the lower chrome strip. I suppose it's near impossible to straighten one... huh? Probably the best thing to do is pick up (repop) new one.

May not be your bumper at all. Was this car hit in the front bending the radiator support? Maybe the grill was replaced and not the radiator support-just a thought. At first glance to me at least the bumper looks fine and its the grill thats angled downward a little. Maybe as a backyard fix make a couple of spacers to angle the grill upward somhow. Sorry-I know the OP is from March but I've been in this guys shoes and I had to replace my Rad support to correct the issues with mine.
