I had a trim tag for a '66 136 car that is now a SS clone. I'm working on it outside and now the trim tag is gone. Are there any legal issues I have to worry about?

Trim tag has nothing to do with registration of said vehicle.

I'm not concerned about the tag per se Doug. My car is not OEM by any stretch of the imaginaton. I was more concerned about the legalities of having the tag stolen. However if you want to talk Chevelle's drink some brews and help me install a motor with a Keisler RS 600 give me a call when your in town (that's if the tranny gets delivered in a couple of weeks).

Jon,

When did you order your RS-600. I placed my order in Jan and I have been told to expect it in June sometime. I am just curious. Thanks.

Jon, I usually have to hit a store in the "Forum" area off I-75, and one over in Cape Coral. I usually try to stay off Alico Road, at the Holiday Inn. Nothing illegal about the tag missing in Fla., just tells you colors and options. Mine tag is a 136 car, F-F paint, 763-B, 4 speed/console.

Ken, I ordered mine in late Dec. and the last update I got was they would start shipping in May, but I have not gotten a firm date yet.
