What really sucks about the whole Classic Car Insurance thing (for me anyway) is the fact that you have to be a certain age to get it - usually 25. I'm only 21 and still considered a "high-risk driver," so I can't even touch it yet. I agree with the whole high-risk thing, but a classic car is a classic car, meaning no matter what age you are you shouldn't drive it like a bat out of hell on busy roads; therefore, you would not be as high of a risk as the the guy drag racing his souped-up piece of Jap-crap through town. Not all "kids" are terrible, inexperienced drivers. I've been driving cars since I was 11 years old (shhh, don't tell the cops!). But I guess the insurance companies don't care about that. I don't know. Maybe I just don't see all the stipulations, but that's just my $0.02. Sorry to vent!!
