Working on the '94 full size blazer for my son who just turned 16. The factory speakers ar 4x10's in the area above the rear hatch. I'm replacing the headliner padding/cover, so currently the headliner is out. I modified the rear speaker bracket to fit the new Pioneer 6x9 in the factory location. Couldn't find a 4x10 speaker in stock anywhere. Would prefer the 6x9's. Without the headliner in it appears the new speaker will hang down too low. The speaker magnet is close to the inside roof. I've researched this and some say It has been done and still use the factory speaker covers. Anyone did this mod?? 92-99 burbs and tahoes/blazers should all be the same. thanks david
