I have the number 7806688 on the cap on the side of the box. On the case, there is a big 6 on it also. On the cover where there are probably 5 or 6bolts holding the cover on, is the numbers 364 9 and 5686555. There is also a little marking on it and it looks like the tab that you pull off of a pop can, execpt on the bottom of it, its has a small piece cut out of it and there is a line underneath of it also. This came out of a 1969 Chevelle too. Can anyone tell me about this steering box?
