I am trying to get the horn to work on my 64 but I cannot find any parts. the parts stores cant find any thing and I havent seen anything the repro catologs. are there any years that cross over? also any ideas were I can find a diagram of that assembly

Sort of depends what part of the assembly is bad. The horn wiring comes through the turn signal switch. Troubleshot the horn wire through the switch yet? Two different switches were used. I know the word Guide is printed on that one if that's what you have. Those are getting hard to find. I'm actually missing pieces, right now I have the cancelling cam and switch but thats it. I was hoping to make the orig horn work but it looks like I will have to mount a remote horn button until I find another 64 colum

I'm assuming you have a non-tilt column. If you have a working switch and the cancel cam, the last big piece in there is the actuating cam. That's available from the restoration houses. It's been awhile since I torn into mine but only recall a large flex piece in there after that. May be able to get one of those from a member by posting an ad in the member's classified area. Last couple I saw I left on the floor of a parts car.
