Hello,
I'm new to owning a Chevelle.. well.. im new to owning a car at all =) I've done alot of talking and looking and i've settled on a 71' 454 SS red w/ white stripe and vinal top.. beauitfull condition, runs wonderfull..Automatic

I was wondering if anyone could be so kind as to give me the spec's on the car..

what i mean by this is Max HP Torque 0-60 60-0 lat g's ect..

The 454 was rated at 365 horsepower. I don't recall the torque right off-hand. Somewhere around 440?? I never seen any 0-60 times, but the 60-0 is about 125 ft.
The rear axle ratio is probably 3.31:1 This was standard. Positraction was an option.

The LS5 in 71 produced 365 [email protected] and 465 [email protected]or trend clocked a 71 with an auto and 3.31 rear 0-60 in 6.7 seconds and 1/4 i 14.7 at 96 mph.Nice ride that ran an 8.50 to 1 compression.
