All I did was put on a new carb with electric choke.Went to start the car and check for leaks and walla dead. Checked battery and is ok. Im not even getting a clicking noise. I need instructions on how and what to check for.

Did you check fusible link that is attached to positive battery cable and runs from post to radiator support area behind radiator? Do you have headlights at all?
