I don't know if this belongs here but as winter is coming to and end i i was wondering what are the steps to bringing my car back to life. I will change my oil before starting but what about gas, i filled the tank before winter last year, so its been sitting in the garage since late November, i am ready to enjoy it again but weather still a little crazy. Thanks.

I've never done anything special. I just check all the fluids, tire pressure, and fire it up. Your gas will be fine.

I wouldnt bother changing the oil just yet, might as well run it till it really needs to be changed.Did you put some StaBil in the gas,if not,now may be a good time.Maybe put a trickle charger on the battery too.

make sure everything is topped off and just start it.
it might clatter for a few seconds before oil gets everywhere, but that's not a problem as long as the noise stops when it gets oil pressure.

Just crank it long enough for the oil pressure to come up.
If you haven't run it in months, you'll probably get good oil pressure before the fuel pump can fill the float bowl.
If you're not sure, pull the coil wire, or switch off the kill switch (you DO have a kill switch...), and crank until the oil pressure hits 40 or whatever it usually hits at cold idle (about 1 minute, in 20 second bursts), then turn on the spark and fire 'er up!

Well i havent changed the oil since last summer and to be honest i didn't drive it often enough and when i did drive it i was driving like an old lady lol. I didn't add any addititives to the fuel but i did installed a trickle charger like 2 months ago. Well thanks for your answers.

Only thing I do is the trickle charger and a can of Sea Foam in the gas.
Oh and put a little more air pressure in the tires for the winter sleep.
