I read that the mounting holes for 69 SS rear mouldings are slots instead of holes, anything to this?

Jim, all the 69 Malibus and SS cars had what you said - long, narrow, oval holes for the molding clips.

thanks ,I was reading a link from here where the person was trying to say that only the SS had the oblong holes for that moulding. of course I couldnt find it again!! thanks again!
