The options that came one these cars depended upon what the first owner ordered them with. The only way your going to know for sure what options came on your Chevelle is to find a build sheet in your car. Chevy didn't keep good records on this so it is hard to research.

Or what the dealer added on which would be on the window sticker. Many people have dealer installed cowl induction.
Jason the VIN tells you nothing about options. The cowl tag may list a seat option like A51 after the trim code. The cowl tag will tell you what color interior and paint the car originally came with.
Your VIN:
1 = Chev div of GM
3637 = Malibu 2dr. coupe, 8-cyl
0 = 1970
R = Arlington TX assy plant
232816 = sequence #.
Post your cowl tag and we will get you the interior and exterior colors.
