Take a look at your bottom picture (backside)….. See the three “pins”? Notice a triangle pattern. I just looked at my original door panels, which are off my Chevelle. The emblems mount in an upside down triangle. Two pins at top and the center pin at the bottom. I myself have wondered about this very same question until now!
