Got a 70 malibu that I need to clean the back side of and also the speedo face itself from years of dust. How do I go about removing it? Thanks

Sweep gauge?
If so, you have to remove the gauge first, then the whole thing will break down via screws.

Been there... done that!

Careful when you do get it out. Don't wipe it down too much and I wouldn't use anything wet or it will start smudging the numbers. I used a camera duster with the little soft brush on the end after sumdging mine a little.

Yes, sweep guage. Just dusty in there from years of setting, and then the last 2 years of doing bodywork on the inside and out. Thanks for the tips. You guys more than likly just saved me ruining my speedometer. It's amazing how easy it is to screw something up or ruin it.
