We had the car out this weekend and it started making some noise. Well the noise got worse the more we drove it. It kind of sounds like an exhust leek under the dash. The noise speeds up the faster I go and slows down the slower I go. Has anybody had this problem before, are there any quick fixies or do I have to replace. Thanks for all responses in advance.

Sounds like your speedometer cable is making noise. You can try to disconnect it at the rear of the speedometer and pull it out of the sheath. Then, clean it with a rag damp with brake cleaner. After it dries, relube it with speedometer cable lubricant. This is graphite based so it doesn't "gum" up. Reinstall it and see what happens. You may have to disconnect it at the trans as well to get it mated again with the trans gear.
