My rims on the car are 15" and my spare tire rim is 14". I was wondering for a spare tire will this be any kind of problem?

As a spare it will not make any difference, but using it on the car may. I would not reccomend using it in the rear if you have a posi. It would be best to get a 15" spare.

As long as the outside diameter of the tire is the same it doesn't matter such as if the two have different profiles but they both end up 26" diameter.

It will if you have 15" to clear disc brakes!
