Can someone explain to me how this brace is going to bolt to back of the alternator. I'm pretty sure we all agree that "size matters" :thumbsup:

There's a special thin head bolt that holds the strap in place.

I have the bolt and other hardware to attach the brace. My question concerns the length of brace which is to long to attach to the back of the alternator.

Maybe the back of the alternator is not clocked to the right position compared to the front part.

measure it and cut it, IIRC, there are a couple if different spacer lengths.
