Does anyone know where I can get some modern style carpet like the kind that comes in new cars nowadays? All I have found is the original style 80/20 loop pyle.

JC Whitney sells them.

A lot of people are prejudiced against JC Whitney because they sell some cheesy stuff like "Dixie" horns, etc. But they sell name brand carpets, custom molded to fit your application. Original style or modern "cut pile".

Your local upholstery shop should have it too. I just had my seats redone and new carpet layed last monday. Since I was going with a sorta updated kinda style thing with the interior I decided to go modern style carpet. Paid 150 bucks installed for the carpet.

ACC carpet will make up (mold) carpet out of any type that they have in stock. This is per the "rep" I talked to at the SEMA show.
