I owned a 1967 Chevelle SS Coupe, recommendation on sound damping material for the interior?

There are many discussions around here regarding "Lizard Skin" sound deadener and any of the aluminized adhesive rubber sound deadeners. A search will find those many threads and they all work well.

I like coolit too, it’s cheap and it lays out real easy

I used second skin. LOVE IT! the key is not just the base layer, but the top layer.

My dad and I used 80 mil Noico in our cars and made sure to get the extra mass backing for the carpet.

As 'Blackhawk' and 'Pete 67' mentioned. I'm using the Noico brand. A LOT cheaper than the others and great material.

I run Noico 80 down from the package tray rear of back seat all the way to the rear of the front seat. Then their red 150 on the firewall. Doors are just cardboard behind the door panels.
