Cam,the motor was in the car when he got it so I am not sure what parts were used.The mounts appear to be home made.The only thing on it that I know is don hardy are the 5 bolt front brake rotors.Junkyard Dawg,sorry I don't have any pics of the engine I'll try to get some and post them.Thanks,Bill.

Derek,they are kind of like the baldwin motion stripes but I changed them up a little to make it look different.Some b.m. cars had the stripe go over the rear spoiler and some of them the whole rear of the car was whited out.

man, i NEED to get another Vega.. i've still got the v8 swap parts, but i haven't seen a solid Vega for years- let alone a solid Vega GT Wagon like the one i had..
i do know of a Monza Spyder that has a healthy 327 with a tunnel ram with a 4 speed and 4:10 posi out back for $1500, however.
hmm.. i wonder if that 4 door Chevette my brother has out in the field could be made half as cool as a Vega if i put my LT1 in it...

There was a 327 powered Vega running around town when I was in high school. A few of the motorheads were talking a lot of trash about that car one night and I innocently asked if any of them had raced the guy. You could have heard a pin drop and if looks could kill I'd have been dead. Later I found out that they refused to race the guy for fear of losing to a Vega. It was not a good subject with those guys
