Hey guys,
I had two 67's then got into an 02 Z06 with mods, sold that and now have an immaculate yellow/black 72 SS with a Tremec 5-speed, 4.11's and a 468BB with 445hp/456tq at the wheels. It was mint, but I still found a way to spend 5K and still want new rims/tires, headers, and exhust.

Mike.

Welcome, Mike! I'd like to see pix as well! Also...which one threw you back in your seat harder...the Chevelle or the Vette?

Thanks for the welcome. The Chevelle DEFINITELY pulls harded. the Vette had 372RWHP compared to 450RWHP(and my headers and exhaust are too small). But the Vette was an unbelieveable supercar in all aspects. It wold walk past the Chevelle after the quarter. But all around super-performance is not what muscle cars are about. It's about ridiculous acceleration as long as you don't want to turn or stop! And, of course, the unmistakeable V8 rumble through headers that you can't get today.
I have a question in the WHEELS/TIRES section maybe you guys can help me with.
George, I think this is your car. did we talk on the phone a few months ago? PM or e-mail me if you want to know what I did so far.

Thanks everyone.:D

Welcome! I too owned an 03 Z06 and now a couple of Chevelles. I love the chevelles but they are no match for the Z06.

Two 67's?? What corvettes or chevelles? Welcome, and I just move to NC from Stamford, CT.
Freddy, wish I lived in the Carolinas. I love it there. I work for Greenwich F.D. next door to Stamford. I had 2 67 Chevelles. My dad currently has a 64 Vette conv. w/383 stroker/4spd, a 57 Chevy conv 283/power pack, 66 Mustang conv, 05 Mustang GT conv, and a 70 Chevelle SS 396/4spd.

To post pictures that are already on the internet, click the little yellow icon of the mountain and put the address in there. If you don't have any pics online, I suggest gjpix.com...it's free and easy to upload (that's where all my pics are uploaded to, anyway)

Mike,

That has got to be one of the best looking 72 I have ever seen. That yellow and black stripe combination is very sharp.
