How's the final port match? In the pic it looks like the floor of the intake is higher than port and the roof is a little lower? Or was it just sitting on there for the pic?

Just curious how the Vic Jr matches the 265 heads. I know it was the best option with the larger heads as far as port match goes and even then it took some work and or epoxy to make it truly match. Probably no big difference in power anyway.

Looks like it's going to be a heck of a lot of fun. What did you decide on the trans??

You hitting chassis dyno? What kind is it?

should be ready to fire soon , as you can see here I got everything wired up and I am ready to put the front end on , just waiting for a buddy to drop by to help me lift it , from there a couple hrs away

Jim the intake matched up a lot better than the picture shows because of the angle , it is a very close match considering Tony had to take 3/8 out of every corner of every port when he did the intake...

Once I got it I took all the casting off the outside and sanded it down to 220 to get it all smooth (looked like brushed alum) I was gonna go further and polish it but then decided it might be to much bling and would still dull and need a polish now and then so I powder coated with whats called chrome powder and a powder coat of clear to give me a nice smooth (almost polished) look that will not fade, get greasy or dirty or need any polishing in the future....

I threw the m20 and centerforce back in it for the dyno to get accurate numbers so I can then order the trans from mike , hes kinnda on stand by waiting for me and my numbers , going to a GFR 5 , I got all my gears picked out using my desk top dyno numbers but I am just waiting for my actual real world results before I pull the trigger....
As far as the clutch goes I am going with the same mcleod softlock you are using after reading up on the past post from you and others , mike at gforce is a mcleod dealer so I am gonna see what kind of deal he can make me on one when I order the trans...

I was at the machine shop today and got it set up to dyno monday or tues , my buddy just got here now for the front end so I should have it fired tonight....I am going to film it on my sons ipod4 and if someone can give me the 101 on how to post it here i will I would like to do that...

here I uncovered er for a peak

Yea i was planning on disk brakes , up and lower control arms and a steering box and then thought whats there really left so I am building a whole new sub frame from scratch that i hope will be done for early to late spring for when i am ready to take it to the track...

For now I can use the front right up to the weekend swop and after wards have the old one a complete roller for a rainy day or If I pick up another shell to race only I can use the new sub for the race car and have the old one to keep the car a grocery getter , I still have every original part I ever took off the car so if the day comes I can take every go fast part from the car and build a race car and still have a nice street rod...

Anyways ITS ALIVE we worked all night on it got everything bolted up wired and if there wasn't snow outside I would have probably taken her for a boot around the block :D

Maybe its a good thing , got a lot of tweaking and tuning to do tomorrow , got some pics vids I will try to get up in the next day or two.

This thing sounds and feels AMAZING !!!!!! I am tired now and will be crashing with a huge ear to ear grin:D:D:D

Special Thanks To Mike Lewis , couldn't have done it like this with out ya

Cheers:beers:
