I am new to the wagon scene. I was looking at the suspension on the 1970 and could not find any shocks or mounts for that matter in the rear. I did not look at the front. Are there shocks or just spings on these? Thanks,
There are definitely shocks on the wagons. The rear shocks mount at the top to the frame with two fairly small bolts that are a PITA to access, if your exhaust runs up and over the differential. The lower mounting point of the shocks bolts to a tab on the differential. I'm headed out of town for five days, but if you need pictures I can get you some when I get back. Let me know if you need that. You won't want to drive any car without shocks or you'll be waddling down the road.
