Good evening. I have installed a Muncie with a Hurst shifter in my '69 El Camino. It was an automatic transmission car. I had to cut quite a slot in the transmission tunnel to clear the shifter linkage and the shifter is considerably off center to the driver's side. I bought a shifter hump and it does not come close to putting the shifter in the center of the opening. Have I missed something or do I possibly have a situation here for the professionals? Everything lines up in the drive line and there is no vibration when I test drive it. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Dennis
