Now he has a 2014 R/T charger. He has tried so many traction tires i forget what he has now. He has ran a best of 12.50 without taking anything off the engine. Just put a scat pack ported intake on 2 weeks ago. He has got this fast through electronics, tires and suspension. I told him last year he needs to learn to drive the chevelle. At 71, I am sure he could get a tenth or more out of it. Youngest son has a 10.80 NA malibu. Its nice whey we all go to the track together. Oldest son is working on his 340 duster. Wife wants a challenger scat pack 1320 in orange. Whoever said you have to die to get to Heaven was wrong.

Where in MI. do you race Rick? My two stepsons race in Lapeer with a few guys here, I know Dale (Monk on these forums) knows them and runs up at Lapeer with them. Both of my stepsons have Novas now,not sure what Matt's times are in this one:

But before he sold the 68 Chevelle, he was running low 9's

Last I spoke with Mike at Christmas, he ran 8.9's with his Nova w/twin turbo LS (no pics:()

gman, our home track is Lapeer. I try to go when Dale and or Brian are going. We go any time we can when weather permits. We also meet up with them at the Back To the Bricks cruise night.

Small world!!, Since Dale knows my stepsons, you probably do too, ask Dale about a couple of brothers from Oxford (Mike & Matt). Matt's easy to spot, he's like 6'7", I think you would recognize Dale's car to the left of me in this pic of us coming home from Woodward one year, also up in the right lane is Matt's 68. I usually see Dale down at Woodward each year in the parking lot we sit in, I doubt he knows me but he's down there hanging with the boys for a bit usually.

I think the flyer below was around 2019, Matt's 68 made the Lapper raceway advertisement (bottom left).
