Be careful on the drive. Passes mid-state are passable but make sure you have chains. Troopers are getting serious and picky about traction devices. Weahter is supposed to be cold but clear supposedly. However the Willamette Valley is on a freezing fog kick all week and the roads are icy in spots. Drive safe.

Update - Mom came through surgery ok and is alert and resting well. Now we will deal with the long term rehab, housing special needs, etc. Thanks for all of your support, my family appreciates it. Patrick
