Just a quick question for those of you who have dealt with this dilemma. Which should I do first, have the car painted or install the weather stripping?

Always install weather stripping after getting the car painted!

Joe Y is correct.

Makes for a very nice install of weather stripping and a better paint job.

Install the weather stripping AFTER the car is painted. MUCH nicer finished product. You won't see all that "taping" finish. You know what I mean the lines and the overspray. It's tough to sit and wait, especially with parts in hand. But, you'll be happier for it.

Well it appears to be unanimous. The car shall be going in for paint fairly soon. Thank you all for your help.
