Looks like a scam to me. It would be worth checking into though. I had a friend who bought a '57 Chevy for $1500 once. It turned out to be a Corvette!

They will want you to send all your information and the car will be shipped from somewhere by someone else.

Any REAL good deals on craig's list are always gone within a few minutes of being posted.

From talking to the guy it doesn't appear to be a scam. It sounds like either an old or partial resto. Not an SS car and also sounds like it had "some" rust. Also sounds like he had lots of calls so he may try to set up an informal "auction"
