Hello,

I found this Chevelle on Craigslist and wanted to know if anybody around Kansas City has seen this car. Build looks relatively solid even though the horsepower is more than I would like. I also didn’t know much about matte finish; aside from the look do people choose this to cover imperfections in the body? Interior would obviously have to be replaced and the rear gearing is 4.25. Estimates on its market value? Thanks in advance.

Looks like he’s asking 30k because of the motor. If i didnt see a price id say it would be around an $18k car. I’ve seen much better examples of clean chevelles for 30k. He’s spent a lot of money on the motor and accompanying parts… seems like he’s just throwing out a price and if it sells, cool, he’s got his money back. If not he keeps it and enjoys it.

looks like a bracket car you can drive to the track. makes you wonder how fast it is since there's no roll bar or seat belts.
I bet it's a fun car to blast around in, but would probably get old real fast. Unless your planning on bracket racing. jim

Not sure what you're looking to do with a car but no matter what you want one for that's too much money for that car and I think he's gonna be hangin on to it this side of some star struck kid coming along and biting on that hook

Add removed by Author, He's trying to recoup some $ and that'll probably never happen without it looking very nice, JMO

Agreed. He’s fishing. No harm in that.

Dunno - maybe he caught his fish. :)

Have to watch and see if it pops up again somewhere.
