I have orderd new seat covering for my son's 67 chevelle. It hasn't came yet but I took the old upholstery and foam off to day, ( dirty job). Is there any tips anyone out there can give me to make it easier to recover these buckets? I would be very grateful for any help or advice. Also do the contour carpets fit better than the regular carpets you can buy? Thanks alot. Steve

1-a plastic bag (dry cleaner type) over the seat back will make the covers slide on a bit easier. When on you can pull bag out.

2-warm covers are more pliable-lay them in sun or put them in dryer (inside pillow case) for a few minutes.
