Does anyone know where I can buy OEM seat vinyl online? The front seat on our Chevelle needs to be recovered and I need to find matching material for it. My dad owned a upholstery shop for 40 years and is now retired but still has a small shop behind their house so he said he would recover the seat if I can find the matching material. Thanks.

70Gold has a better site,SMS is a JOKE,they are charging $60.00+ for vynil that you can buy else where for half that.2 years ago I ordered 3 yards of vynil from SMS andwhen I got it it was the same stuff that I could have bought localy for a third the price. So just check around before you order.

It depend's,one what way you are going.Such as leather, vynil, cloth,or tweed, and what your time is worth. You can easily spend as much or more on the stuff to make your own seat covers as it would cost to buy repops. And then you have your time spent on sewing them up.Now if you go the resteration way, then I 100% say buy the repops. It is easier in the long run,and some place give a discount if you buy the complete interior kit from them.

Us trimmer guys can make you a better seat cover then those repops...the thing we cannot do is dielectrical pleating...and it costs more than just buying repops and having them installed...but if you are a trimmer or your grandfather is and you are not after that complete factory look on say your 70 model Velle with it's dielectric pleats then I say what the heck...let Grandpa make them...then you have something sentimental!! hahahahha
