Find a '67 or later car with the belts and make some measurements. Or/and feel around for the shoulder belt bracket. If you can spend osme time with a car with the belts, make a template to transfer the locations to your car.
My '69 Elcamino had shoulder belts that attached to the pillar post, they were two seprate belts, a buckle for the 'lap' & one for the 'shoulder' belt. Funky, but different.
I'd like to put shoulder harness's in my '67 Elcamino also, but I've never seen one with 'em installed?
20/20 did a "Seat belt" saftey documentry. They said GM started installing the mounting brackets in all models since '69 they didn't say anything regarding the prior years. Check the sail panels for the brackets. they may have to be welded in????
