If you have a Harley Davison shop near you might check them out. I used two different products made by Novus. One was the fine scratch remover and the other the polish. Good product used by some fussy bikers.
Depending on how badly your lens is scratched, I would not use brasso or toothpaste if you just have minor superficial scratches. Try the product that Dick recommended. It is actually made for plastic scratch removal.
For the scratches I would try a prodict from MEGUIARS they have for plastic parts there are 3 steps total to it one is a cleaner the other is a polish and i forget what the 3rd step is but it works VERY well i used it on my rear convt plastic window that you could not ssee a thing out of and it brought it back to crystal clear i was impressed. any good motorcycle shop also would sell acleaner/polish kit for helmet shields that would work well but i have used the meguiars stuff on my own car and it worked great
