I'd run a Lunati 501D2LUN, the 304/310 at .020, 268/274 at .050, .626"/.626" valve lift, cam. The D2 is on a 106 LSA, but if you want a little smoother idle and a wider powerband, get Steve to make it on a 108 LSA. It has gone 2300 miles in 24 hours, and is very reliable on valve train parts. It was our cam of choice for 306s in the early 80s, winning several National F5000 championships. It is a good match with your parts, although obviously a better cylinder head would help. But it was a good SS stick cam in a number of cars, using that type of head.
Reach Steve at 662-892-1526(I think...) and tell him you want a 01-UR18-UR20-08 for the D2 on a 108 LSA.
