I was looking for the 350cid+ style frame motor mounts and came across this article:

There's a good thread on TC showing the difference between the 307 and 350+ frame mounts, but you never know when pictures will become little red X's.

FYI...Dana's '69 uses the original 307 frame mounts. Never been any problem with either the previous 383 or the freshly installed 406.
Using 307 motor mounts...and actually a Moroso tall solid mount on driver's side.

I have 307 mounts in the red car, with the big block. But I had a hell of a time with the three inch head pipe hitting the the cross member. I also had to beat on my headman headers some, while others say they just "drop right in no problems at all". So I am going to error on the simple side and just go with the correct stuff.

They aren't cheap though!

I bought mine off e-bay for @ $20 including shipping. If you do a search for "frame mount" you should find several sets ranging from $10-$70 for a pair. Tamraz usually has reporo's with a buy it now price for @ $37.
