Its runnin . 2 pumps. Fired right up .
First time throwin one of these together.
Albeit with Distributor and valve cover comin off and in and out several times lost count lol but i got it.
What would be recommended for initial and total timing on a deal like this ?
3 ton 89 truck 350/ 400/ 410
Dish piston 70's 350 bottom . .390 lift cam with about 200 @ 050 then whatever they had in them for LSA clueless lol
- 64 chamber 202 valve 200 cc runner alumimum head. Lunati 1.6 on intake 1.5 on ex. (They were sittin there so i figured why not) With an old dirt trackers cheater bow tie dual plane kinda high intake
650 edelbrock. Stock exhaust manifolds
Quite an oddball combination there lol
Oughta be interesting . A definite misfit between heads and cam there .
Where should I put timing on this ?
I would give it as much initial as it wants. 16 to 18 degrees. More than like 34 to 38 degree of total all in by 2500 to 3000. I would use manifold vacuum for a can that would add a additional 10 to 12 degrees for a total of 48 to 50. That is on the upper side of conservative. Once you get there. You can then tune more accurately.
