Hi guys, My friend asked if i wanted his 4 bolt main small block (block and caps only) . I took the numbers down to check with TC and they are as so:
rear engine cast number 3970010
front pad (pad seems small) these numbers are stamped over each other
C7z153413 V0118tyy
the center journal caps have 3412

Thats all the infor I have. Thanks guys

What are you trying to determine if you already know it's a 4 bolt block?
Part VIN shows Chevy 1977 Fremont vehicle and engine code shows 77 350 Truck 165 LS-9 Manual 4-Brl C 10 & C 20
The 3412 caps are grey iron and not as strong as the 2482 nodular caps.
