I have a 67 chevelle. The plate on the firewall is 13817bf. The plate inside the door pilar is 136177. Can anyone tell me what is going on?

Someone has made a switch somewhere along the line. They would both have to match and be one or the other. Post some pics and maybe it will be obvious as to which is not original. 138 is SS and 136 is malibu
