rocker ratio/guide wear

lets say your s/b has the 1.5 fact. ratio rockers, correct p/r length, and you install 1.6 rockers, correct p/r length-is their gonna be more wear on the guides than the 1.5, enough to cause a problem-the lower ratio would roll back and forth from the center of the valve less than a higher ratio, so it would be pushing more on the center area, rather than farther out
i assume the fact. designed them with long life in mind-so i guess the question is, is the small gain in lift worth any possible wear

+1. If you're going form a factory stamped rocker to a roller, the side load on the guide will be even less.
No more wear than there would be if you kept the 1.5 rockers but installed a different cam having more lift.

I wouldn't worry about it, provided you have the pushrod length right.
