Just saw that Jeff Beck passed away. The man was not only a rock guitar great, but he was a true gearhead with a really impressive collection of old hot rods that he actually wrenched on himself.

Our own Paul Cangiolosi @5speeds visited Jeff at his UK home, hand delivered him some Muncie parts & received a tour of his shop. I'll see if I can find the youtube video.

It's true loss for music & for the car world. RIP to a Legend.

Edit...found the video.

One of the great guitarists and a true hot rodder to the bone.He had a collection of well over 20 (maybe more) home built hot rods, most of which he built himself.
RIP Jeff Beck you won't be soon forgotten.

Smoke 'em if you got 'em. RIP Jeff Beck. After reading this news I called a buddy to stroll down memory lane of a top octane night ramble into the 100 Club in London (think so?) and seeing an impromptu Beck and Paige “warm up jam “ that lasted 30-45 minutes. Neither of us remember much about the punk band that played afterwards but I remember Jeff and Jimmy creaming it! He’s not sure it really happened. Well that was a mere 43-44 years ago and now I’m sure he’s getting old…; )
