Reports: David Crosby, rock star and CSNY co-founder, dies

David Crosby, the brash rock musician who evolved from a baby-faced harmony singer with the Byrds to a mustachioed hippie superstar and an ongoing troubadour in Crosby, Stills, Nash & (sometimes) Young, has died at 81, several media outlets reported Thursday.

I won't be sad when Madonna goes but these old timers, I hate seeing them go.

Not sure if I remember this correctly:
Wasn't Crosby the guy who abused drugs and alcohol for years, got the hep, then used his celebrity status to avoid waiting for a new liver? Meanwhile, Walter Payton treated his body like a shrine, was dying of liver disease, refused to cut in line, and died while waiting his turn for an organ transplant.

Maybe it was gossip, urban legend, or just plain old BS. Like the rumor that went around in the 80's about Rod Stewart. Or the story about Alice Cooper and Ted Nugent having a gross-out contest.

Madonna never did anyone wrong IMO but some celebrity's have been given new livers and went out doing the same things.
