It is with a heavy heart that I pass along news that Craig Hennige, of Waldorf, MD, suffered a heart attack over the weekend and has passed away. Craig was an avid drag racer who campaigned his A/G ‘48 Anglia "The Whooppee Car" in the 70’s and 80’s. For the last 20 years Craig has been a DJ for local oldies stations and had a “Rolling Oldies Show” that he used to entertain at countless car shows and other events such as the Marine Corps Marathon.
Services will be held Thursday August 20, 2009 from 3-8 pm at Middleton Hall in Waldorf, MD (http://www.middletonhall.com/directions.html). In remembrance of Craig’s commitment and passion of cars, those in attendance are encouraged to drive their classics and hot rods to the ceremony.
Craig will be sorely missed.
