My right blinker light indicator on dash will glow slightly with blinker handle off? What would cause this? Thanks, RWS

What year car? This is caused, in most cases, by a bad ground at the lamp socket connection...either the rear OR front directional socket. Does the "glowing" change intensity when the brake pedal is depressed? If so, it's probaby the rear socket..if not, it's more than likely the front socket ground.

Sorry, I forgot to say, it is a 1969 chevelle. I haven't had time to check if intensity changes with brake on, but thanks for the information.
